SEDF research trip to London Zoo

Nat, James, Matt, Cindy and myself went on a research trip to London Zoo the day after we got back from the fort. I was very impressed - the zoo no longer has elephants or rhinos (a sign said they had been moved to Whipsnade to give them more room) and the penguins had been moved out of the history but not particularly friendly Penguin Pool. The "Animals in Action" show at noon is a must-see - we were treated to skunks, rats, owls and a Harris Hawk, a great start to the day.
